Never really wanted a Subaru as most of them all look the same in blue with gold wheels and was looking for an evo. Then I saw a bog standard silver WRX in the local garage and thought that would be a good car for the Mrs. Unfortunatly the sales man new me and said "were you after something a bit special ?"

The salesman showed me the WR1 picture which was due in soon. I had no idea what it was but the pictures blew me away. I looked through your forum and noticed a good bunch of guys, read virtually the whole site, brought the WR1.

The Mrs aint very happy as she still has her VR6, but she will have to get over it.

The first night I used it I blew the rubber pipes to the turbo, took it to the garage next day and just dropped it off without ringing. They were faultless, a few hours later they phoned and said the pipes were badly leaking and had been replaced under the factory recall under warranty and even gave me a baseball hat. It actually feels a bit slower now, or am I getting use to it, don't know, dont care, just love it.

Yeh, I noticed the meet but I'm going to Le Mans 24hr race this weekend so will have to go another time. Thats why I posted a petrol question as I may end up going in the company car if the French stuff aint no good for her.

No offence Jaycee on the blue as your picture is that colour. I'm now a converted Scooby fan and know many say a real one is those colours, I just love this ice blue.

Just think of the months of waiting we all had from ordering to collecting. On top of that most cars were also delayed beyond what was expected!

Indian Drivers eek :?

In the 11 weeks here so far the only rules I've worked out are in the use the horn...

Rule 1
Honk horn furiuosly when...
You have right of way and are COMIN THRO'

Rule 2
Honk horn furiuosly when...
The other guy has right of way but you are COMIN THRO' anyway

Rule 3
Honk horn furiuosly when...
Neither you nor the other guy has right of way, it's this third guy somewhere else who has the right of way but... you are COMIN THRO' anyway

Rule 4
Honk horn furiuosly when...
you think someone else may be getting the better of your honking to come thro'

Oh.. and the Buffalo and Cattle always have right of way.

maybe they need the welsh chief wanker to come and tell them his view on car ownership, and how to drive safetly.
