Hi all im the proud new owner of 166, ive had it a week now and its amazing. I wasnt a big impreza fan before, ive owned skylines and didnt think the wrx's would be for me!!! Until i saw thw WR1 in the ice blue and fell in love, then i drove it and things just got worse. I only went into the garage i got it from to collect a cheque for work my company had done for them and came away with the 1. My one has yokohama prada tyre on at the minute which grip like glue was wondering if anyone had any advice on best tyres for her or if these are as good as im thinking. Good choice in buying the wr1 mate, best looking scooby ever built imo,
Never wanted a scooby untill i seen a wr1 and i said to kirsty we need to get one of them

Ian can u tell me anything about her mate, also about the stereo system i cant get the handsfree mic to work and cant find a remote for it????? do u still have it by any chance. also did it ever missfire under gentle power in 5th or 6th gear with u? it only does it every now and again. i never had a remote with it and never used the hands free kit, so sorry i cant help you on that one. I never noticed a missfire, did the garage do its 50, 000 mile / 5 yr service and mot it for you ?

Hi Ian thanks for the info on the missfire and remote, No the garage didnt do anything to it. I own a garage that does all the work for the people who were selling it so i done a trade buy on it from them. To be honest i didnt go there to look at the car i went to pick up a cheque and saw it and fell in love and had to have it. I will sort it all out soon when ive had a bit of fun, it only does the miss fire occasionally so i think next week or poss the one after when ive finished playing i will have it in do a full service cam belt and put some new tyres an MOT and some better brakes on her as ive managed to warp the front discs already lol. Cracking car though and great fun to drive. Im also considering tuning her up some more i know people say it knocks the value but i didnt buy it to sell i got it to have fun with so to hell with the re-sale of it. Do u have any idea what the current bhp is, the previous owner to you said he had it at 342 with the re-map induction and exhaust.... did u do anymore if so what was it and what power did it have after.
