Hello and also after some advice from 087 !

Postby mike.allen-@tiscali.co.uk » Wed Oct 14, 2009 2:05 pm

Hello Everyone

I have been the proud owner for the last 4 years of no 087, which I bought from Tiley of Bristol with 4k on the clock ! it now has 78k and its time to sell ! It is a great car and has never let me down it has got a few bumps and scratches but nothing to major ! it has 8 months tax and mot and has been regularly serviced by Keith Price Subaru in Abbergavenny. My question to the WR1 experts is where is the best place to sell and what price should I ask ?

Thanks in advance

Mike

If you are desparate to sell : £13k

If you are not in a hurry : £15k

Cheers guys I am looking to sell it soon and would be looking for just over 9 to 9.5k do you think its too cheap considering the small amount of bodywork it needs ?

Cheers

Depends how desparate you are to sell it and how "bad" the damage is!!

have you looked at any other cars selling for your mileage? I took a quick look on auto-trader and there are 2, one with 70k at 13.4k and 90k at 12k so unless your damage is really bad it'll be worth more than 9.5k.

up to you, it'll go quick at 9.5k I suspect!!

pics would definitely help. That is high mileage and if you are pricing to sell then I think you're not far off the mark if there's bodywork stuff to be done, depends how bad that is though, is it a scratch or does it need a couple of wings and a bonnet?!

Welcome anyway, and good luck!

Its not bad damage its a Small dent in the driver door and rear passenger door plus the bumper needs a coat of paint where its caught a wall when parking ! I am away all weekend but will post some pics early next week and see what you guys think then ! thought i might stick it in the for sale section on here first before putting it in Autotrader or on Pistonheads !!!

Thanks for the advice though

Cheers

Mike

( also the rear nearside shock has started knocking in the last two weeks !)
