well, if that doesn't signify serious interest then I don't know what does!

Hope its a good un mate...long way to see a sh$t box...

Having said that though, anything can be replaced/repaired/repainted....just do it and enjoy the new toy. Worry about the rest when your face has stopped aching!

That's a good way to get to know your new car! I hope it turns out to be what you expect. Remember and take a thick wallet for the petrol!

Where's the car and where are you? Just an idea, could post up a thread kindly asking any member who local to the car and willing to view it on your behave. You could then get initial feedback to gauge if worth the trip.

Anyway Good luck :thumb:

I bought mine going by a few pictures! Never saw the car until I heard the burble as it turned into my street and it got delivered to my door. Although if I had I would probably have had a few small things I would have asked to get fixed in general though it was just what I expected.

I think buying a car without seeing it is great. have done it last few times. Have never been disappointed yet.

hello again. Arrived home late last nite with my new WR1. To answer my question is it worth it? Your damn right it was worth it! This is one fast machine! Ended up getting it for a great price too. A couple of minor faults though that wont be hard to fix like a cracked driving lamp and probably alloys refurb. Bought it in Birmingham from 60 year old who hardly used it. 32000 miles with full Subaru History. Was a bit worried at first as you would expect driving home when i hit long tail backs, stoping and starting in case it was going to overheat or something but oil temp and everything else stayed as it should. Once i hit the open road back up to Scotland lets just say i should not have a licence anymore! Now after my long trip i feel 100% confident with the car. Thanks for all replys

Either that, or WR1 STB is overly relying on the dashboard temp dial... which is actually a water temp and is little to no use at all. I've never seen mine move. In fact, I've only ever seen it move on one car and that was a 3000GT about two seconds before it over heated and ejected the coolant water.
