Welcome virgin. Hope you don't feel "abused" by the WR1oc and it was a mutually enjoyable popping of the cherry.

No not in a garage unfortunately. The owners are retired (just turned 65) but don't use it that often as they have other cars thy use daily. It's only just had drilled and grooved rally discs all round too so stops pretty sharpish. Only a few minor dings and some kerb damage on one alloy but i'll sort that before getting photo's done.

Not sure if it has the tin and key ring but I'd def be interested in one if it doesn't.

Welcome from Worcestershire to.
Just try to establish whether it's had its rear shocks exchanged ( warranty or not) as it MAY give you some room for haggling if they've not been changed. They SURELY will need to be eventually !
Look for the tax disc holder (numbered) and the Service book which shoud show the same number. The plaque is not numbered and best to forget the key ring !!!

Hope you secure the sale. :thumb:

Cheers buddy. I don't think they have the key ring but I know they have the service book and it matches the tax disc holder - 1st thing I checked! If the shocks haven't been changed and do go do you have any recommendations for replacements? I see there's a difference of opinion on coilovers :?

the obsession gets worse when its in the garage and you havent driven it in 3 weeks because it is wet and you spent nearly 2 full weeks @ 5 hours a nite cleaning and polishing it and dont want dust let alone dirt on it and every night all you want to is rag it to death..........................

Shit that is just me.

You're not alone on that one. I may still keep my current car as a commuter, Guernsey's notorious for muppets denting your panels when it's parked up and the 1 i'm looking at has a couple of marks which i'll want to sort as it is.

If they don't sell (that's not an option!) I'll have to pop to the mainland to get one. I'm hooked on them already and only driven it once! Must be love at first sight :)

Hey guys. Just thought I'd let you know I've secured the purchase on my new WR1 number 242 :woohoo: Will be collecting it friday night so that gives me a weekend of endless TLC to make her shine like the beauty she is. Photo's and details will be posted on the register/garage in due course. Thanks for all the support and encouragement :D

Yeah it's bad when you don't have one and people are buying them all over the shop and all you can do is pine away like a neglected dog. I count myself as one of they lucky ones and will def be taking good care of her. I know her history too and it's great!
