not really a newbie, but.........

.....thought I'd better introduce myself on here anyway!

Thanks to an invite from Chris, I should be coming along to Bruntingthorpe this weekend, possibly to do a little feature on it for Japanese Performance, just for the fun of it if not!

I don't drive a WR1, but I do drive an Impreza.........a Turbo 2000 MY97, which bears a passing resemblance to some other crappy old white Impreza doing the rounds at the moment

I've been around the forums for years, mostly over on Scoobycity (we used to be "sister" sites back in the day), where I'm one of the admin team, so some of you will probably already know me in passing.

Wow that is some spec list and transformation.

The spoiler is a weapon. @ 316hp in a classic you must be pretty quick
Any comparatives with cars you have taken on and beaton on the 1/4

316bhp would make it quick, if it wasn't me driving it!

I've only run on the strip 5 times, back before RCM did their tweaks on it - it was still on the original clutch, with 100k on it, so I wasn't exactly monstering it off the line (plus, it's my only car and a daily driver, so couldn't afford to trash it!!), so my best time is a very poor 14.9, terminal speed of 99mph.

The spoiler only went on last week, after a very long waiting period, but it was worth every day and every penny :)

cheers dude.

And yep, no probs - just gimme £20k, and I can do for you, what I've done for myself over 5 and a bit years

Always willing to help others part with their cash - I could get a job at RCM with skills like those!
