Hey folks...just thought I best say hi before bugging you all stupid!

Been spying on you lot for a while and it is defo the more friendlier forum and full of good info I hope to tap into.

I am a Brit but now live in Finland working from home as a designer of projection systems (3D cinemas etc), planetariums and virtual reality styling studios for automotive design.

I was a spanner monkey and chase car support for a couple of rally cars (N10 GrpN and a Pug 306 2.5V6 Cosworth special) but sadly that ended when I moved up here...now looking to get back into all this with the addition of a blob eye (exact model TBD...)

-Andy

Yep it sure was...

All home crafted too...we suffered a lot of failures in the gearbox, diffs and exhaust. Not suprising when you saw it up close really... but when it was on song, boy was it an awsome car with an awsome sound track and a top fella driving it also.

Andy has a 22B stashed away too, but he won't sell it to me!

Watched lots of footage of the car & there's some cracking onboard vids & Andy can certainly drive :D 8)
Yeah it has a lovely engine note from the v6, my girlfriends brother used the same engine in his sierra rally car so did his mate. They're building another sierra with a 2.5v at the moment to do a few rallys this season whilst their top secret rally special is being built (this will be unique & special)

It is a great car, but sadly the technology it is based on is getting tired now and its just not fast enough anymore. Andy can certainly peddle though..

I know he has a new concept in development, and knowing Andy it will be special...the car before this one was an old Alfa with a Ferrari engine!

He's a great bloke, and hold some wicked BBQ's but a complete nutcase and its guys like him that make motorsport so much fun...and not to take it all too seriously.

Are you Finnish, Caveman? Or also a bloke who got lost there ?

Nope, just got lost here...or as others put it....have the blonde syndrome!

To be honest though, I love it here. There is a few brits in Seinajoki which helps but I would never live back in the UK.

Travel back there for a week every month to visit the office near Reading, and that gives me my fix of the UK to last until the next time.

How about you? You bag yourself a blond too?
