Is 333bhp the most that can be gotten? Thats a lot of money I assume other things would be needed as well such as brakes. What about gearbox? Toni

How much do you want to spend? The Prodrive Performance Pack is 2 grand and that gives 300bhp as opposed to 333 at

I didn't mean a new one and I also meant FQ340 I want a used car with low mileage really. I have been reading a thread on scoobynet about the pros and cons of Evo vs Impreza, I love the look of a Subaru but the Evo looks a bit more mean looking

The 400's have only been out a few months, I would seriously doubt you could pick up a used one with a 20 grand discount. Possibly a 320 which has been tuned.

LOL! I missed your edit. Yes a 340for that price is more likely. HoweverMitsihave the new car coming soon which will force prices down even further. Evo's handle better than Subaru's but nothing beats the sound of the flatfour at full chat. In a straight line there would be nothing in it.

Try before you buy. On the test drive make sure you drive each car like the Devil is chasing you and then decide which one feels best for you.

Not sure if I posted this already but it fits here anyway. You can still pick up a brand new FQ400. Currently at

pulling off in 6th and some crappy little car leaving it for dead, i know you would never do this but it was hilarious, also when it was being slung around the track, awesome, 0-60 in 3.50 seconds mind blowing.

I remember that. The worse parts in my mind were how the car didn't sound like you could live with it daily, clutch, turning circle, ride, servicing etc. I guess we are back to the old chessnut that the Scooby tends to be a better everyday car and I persoanlly believe that the WR1 does have a very good/compromise with the suspension set-up etc. Tired now!

I won't be driving it everyday perhaps 5 days out of every 10, insurance isn't a problem and I expect it to be high but I do have 7 or 8 years no claims discount
