A little taster of what i do at work....

Postby Clark » Wed Apr 23, 2008 10:37 pm

Hi guys 8)

As the time gets ever closer to when i can actually find the time to get my WR1 properly detailed i thought i'd post a link to one of my prouder details as a couple of people have enquired to what it is a professional detailer actually does, and it'll give you an indication of what i'll be doing to the scoob when the time comes :)

I'll just post the link to detailing world as its VERY picture heavy! It was one of the easiest jobs ive done so far so it doesnt really show the true extent of what can be achieved with paint correction but the finished article was pretty good

Hopefully it's of some interest to some of you and while i'm still new to scooby ownership, i'd like to think i can maybe offer advice on the detailing side of things at least :D

Well that was the start of a maintenence contract so pricing was slightly different, but a major correction (done over 3 days) is £595 + VAT. If you want to go for Zymol Vintage as the wax finish then we charge an extra £100, so you're looking at around £800 all in. We appreciate this isnt cheap but you get what you pay for in this business :)

A few comments:-

1) WIth just 800 miles I'm sure it had more defects than my car with 33k miles. Sponge... OMG.
2) Your cuticles need some attention. Your hands are you future please look after them.
3) WOW WOW WOW at the final finish.
