CLEANING THE INTERCOOLER - HELP REQUIRED

Hi Guys, Ive had my first real good look at the intercooler on my 1 and its full of debris!!! Can I / Should I clean it??if so what is the best method and does it inolve removing it and is there anything I should be extra carefull with if I do it myself? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.........

Use your household hoover with the soft brush attachment on the hose, works for me lol. Just be gentle don't rub away with it or you'll bend the fins very easily better to lift it onto next bit rather than rub.

I have been interviewed by the Serious Crime Squad today as a result of this terrible error. They are prepared to let me off with a warning this time as its my first offence. Oops, sorry :oops:
