One of the pool cars at work has started to suffer from soft paint.

Will it be ok to use normal autoglym polish on it then use the Autoglym hard finish stuff? :?

This is a new one to me !

Paint gone 'soft' !

Can you give some more detail ? How does it manifest itself ? What does the paint look like now ?

Is it a metallic of a solid paint ?

What car is it ?

It's on a Vauxhall Vectra, a truely quality chariot of the Gods i'm sure you'll agree...

By soft i meant that it has become very easy to scratch it, a light pass with a finger nail will put a dirty great scratch in the paint.

I think it's metallic, it's a bit of a job to tell really, it's a rather grim dark grey.
