My werkstat results :)

Postby R1ynb » Sun May 13, 2012 7:13 pm

For all you picture lovers I have plenty

Some of you may no I have slight OCD lol with cleaning my car,
Recently I bought the werkstat kit from polishbliss, after reading Clarks thread an seen the results i thought I'd try it out,
Untill then my car was protected in ag hd wax which I was happy with

So to start I did the normal snowfoam wash an dry
The I used carpro clay bar & megs shampo plus as my lube, I went round the whole car an to be honest there wasn't much fallout in the paint work,
After that I had applied werkstat acrylic prime, I did 1 panel at a time and to my surprise it took a we bit of grive out the paint work
Then applied werkstat trigger 3 coats in the end over 2 nights, I haven't user the gloss yet as its a top up

Also cleaned my glass , exhaust, wheels & headlights

I'm really impressed with the finished product it's so reflective an looks really glossy just need to see how long the protection last ,also I belive it won't bead up in the rain like wax :(
Pics enjoy my hard work

That stuff is fantastic, best car polish ive used to date, also purchased snow foam and some expensive mquires shampoo, also excellent on the stainless exetc supension struts, like mirrors.

Car looks great. Is it your daily driver or weekend special?

Great stuff Jeffs Werstatt, but when you use up all the Jeffs acrylic jet,try Auto Finesse tough coat, its not expensive and seems to give better results, very easy to use aswell.
Just use it over the Werstatt Prime as it is a sealant.
Heaven can wait....I'm playing with my scooby.

Chris I may need you to "show me how to apply Auto Finesse" If I pop my car down could you give it a thorough going over then show me what you did?
