Hi,

Here we have a Jaguar XK booked in for a stage 2 treatment plus a few extras.

This was the car on arrival

First off was to remove the wheels to give them a good clean, apply some protection and also sort those rusty looking hubs and calipers. Tools wrapped in masking tape to protect the alloys.

Image

Image

Image

Tyres cleaned with APC

Image

Wheels cleaned with Bilberry

Image

Calipers cleaned up before painting

Image

Once the alloys were cleaned and polished, 2 layers of Poorboys wheel sealant was applied

Hubs and calipers painted

Image

Image

Much better

Image

Image

All fuel, door and boot shuts were cleaned with APC

Image

Image

The car was then snowfoamed before being washed via 2 buket method using Shampoo Plus

Image

It was then taken inside to be clayed and then washed by hand again

Image

Paint thickness readings were then taken. I was already previously aware that some panels had been resprayed

Onto the defects via halogen lighting

And via LED lighting, taken across the car

Areas were taped up as they were worked on

Image

I started with the Makita rotary, 3M polishing pad and backing plate and Menzerna 3.02. These images still require refining

Once all was complete the paint was refined using a 3M finishing pad and Menzerna 85rd

Image

Image

Once complete the car was dusted off and then had an ipa wipedown. Swissvax Cleaner Fluid was then applied

Image

The first application of Swissvax Best of Show was applied

Image

With the light coloured leather slightly suffering this was then cleaned with Gliptone cleaner

Image

And then conditioned with Gliptone conditioner, such a lovely smell to this product

Image

The mats were then removed and all parts of the interior and boot were hoovered and dusted down

Image

Image

Natural Look was then applied to all interior plastics and all glass was polished inside and out

Image

Bumper Care was then used to treat all door/boot seals, boot plastics and exterior plastics

Image

Image

The tyres were then dressed with Endurance Gel

Image

The exhausts polished with NXT

Image

The second application of Swissvax Best of Show was then applied

Image

These were the final pics
