PFF-7 Alloy Wheels refurb

Hi all.

I have not long purchased my WR1, there is something niggling me! A couple of the wheels have been lightly curbed. There are no witness marks on the tyres so I assume its happened on an old set of tyres? :(

I have been looking at companies that refurb alloy wheels, there are a lot to choose from?

Does anyone have any tips for selecting someone to do this work? I have seen options ranging from a drive in, take the tyres off service to a moblie van who does the job with the tyres still on? :?

If anyone knows of a good place in the Hertfordshire area ish, that would be helpful.

Any thoughts would be much apreciated! :)

Cheers! :D

Just had ours powder coated £50 a wheel.

Dipped in acid completly stripped of any paint thats on the whole wheel, not just the face like so many do, then prepped if any kerbing, powder coated, ours were done in antracite which is a tad darker

Mine are getting done on Monday by Top Marques in Stoke. They've already done my old man's Lexus RX450 and his RAV4 and they're spot on. They even offer to re-do the wheels if you're not happy with the colour. My wheels were black when I had the car, I'm going with anthracite I think.
