Coats of wax...

Postby MaverickUK82 » Tue Jul 27, 2010 11:48 am

Is there any benefit to applying more than 1 coat of wax? Will it just make it last longer?

is there anything I can add after the wax to increase shine and beading?

I've been using HD Wax

Applying additional coats of wax will greatly increase the durability and will also add more depth/wetness to the finish. Be aware though that wax will probably only play about a 10% part in the overall finish. This will primarily come from the prep work such as cleaning, claying and polishing.

Its also important to remember to only apply nice thin, even coats. Do not just slap it on as it will not help the appearance and will only waste product.
