It's been a bit quiet on the car care section recently. I'm planning giving mine a good ol' wash at the weekend, this is my plan. Feel free to rip it to shreds.

Saturday:
Prewash (Meguairs Hyper Wash & Super Snow Foam via HD-Foam Lance).
Wash (2 bucket method, with Autoglym shampoo).
Clay (Meguiars quick clay).
Cover car over with tailored cover.

Sunday:
Wipe car down with Meguiars Quick Detailer (to remove anything that may have got under the cover overnight).
Super Resin Polish (2x applications maybe - by hand ).
Extra Gloss Protection (leave for a few hours - may apply second application).
Autoglym HD wax (maybe 2x applications).

I am using these products because I have them all already.

All sounds like a lot of hard work.............but I'm sure it'll be worth it

An Autoglym rep told me recently at a trade show to use clay, then Super Resin, then HD wax. No mention of Extra Gloss in between (but I suppose it wont do any harm at all) I followed his instructions and after 2 coats of HD I was well impressed with the results apart from the fact I thought my hand was gonna drop off after using the useless application pad Autoglym supply in the box

Gave the car a clean and polish the last few days , i used a clay bar then used autoglym extra gloss and then some high def wax !! then took some pics but the sun wasnt out so ive enhanced them










and heres a couple of normal pics ,one of the wheels which had a right good scrub lol !!

I did mine too at the weekend. Exactly what I said in the original post - will get some pics up asap! just need to come up with somewhere good to take them!

just chuck a camera in the back and go 4 a ride round thats what r lass and i did!! must say i do like that hd wax !! used it 4 a while now and seems to last a long time between washes!!

I'm off to Morocco for a holiday on Thurs - have to get pics when I get back...
