Try PIAA silicon wipers

I use rain-x and i find if you apply it with a soft microfibre cloth then go over it with a damp chamois it leaves a perfect crystal clear finish.

I used to use rain x with good results but you kept forgeting to top it up as it wore of.
Same as Eck i now use the PIAA wipers which as well as being good wipers they leave a layer on the windscreen that works just as well as rain x & it applies it every time you use your wipers.

yes go for the piaa wipers, try to avoid using rain-x only for the simple fact that if you eva get a stone chip they dont repair well at all, & your end up having to get a new windscreen every time you get a stone chip.

I have the PIAA wipers and they are simply awesome. At 55+ mph the rain just rolls up the screen in beads and you dont even need to use the wipers :D

Cant recommend then enough, worth every penny and they look the bees knees each having a small PIAA logo on.

I got some after starting this thread. Agree - they are awesome.

However, the drivers side one keeps coming loose - will have to pinch the hook with a pair of grips I expect to make it stop coming off...

Where are you guys getting the piaa wipers from?

I user rainx but its not great at some speeds as after you top it up it smudges the rain which then beeds off - its actually easier to not use the wipers with rainx and let it bead off - on the motorways it looks like your in the millenium falcon going into hyperspace, very strange effect.. :)

Can get them from Scoobyparts
And as Maverick pointed out its a good idea to give the hooks a little tighten with pliers.
