The werkstat was stripped off during the claying (clay strips pretty much any protection) and polishing stage mate, then with the alcohol wipe down after polishing this made the paint 100% squeaky clean for the new sealant to bond properly.

G220 - Unless you are a complete spanner then you'll be fine with one, you'd really have to be doing something stupid to ruin your paint with one. Might be worth finding someone with a paint gauge though to run it over your car first, the WR1's (and most other scoobs) arent the thickest in places...

Thanks Clark,a few more weekends on your WR1 and you will with me mate,not quite there at the moment but looking good for a newbie.
