:toofunny:

Actually, they are Montenegran and no, they're not using blades or washing with mitts that have been laying in a bucket with grid. They're using those buckets with gridguards in (would love to actually find those myself. Anyone?) and towel the thing dry with microfiber towels.

Besides, I don't see why one cannot get his car washed by a bunch of Poles. Do you think the Brits do a better job? That would be if they could be @rsed to work actually.

Grit guard, one assumes you haven't looked very hard to find one? You could always ask your pro car cleaners where they cot there grit guards? Personally I think they are a waste of space, I never leave my brillo pad sitting at the bottom of the bucket.

I also don't let my pad lay in the bucket, but every time you stick it into the bucket, you stir up some of the dirt. The grit guard should avoid this (more or less).

I've looked at Halfords but couldn't find them.

I heard there is a manufacturer making them with 20L buckets. Would be good to know who sells them as a 10L bucket to wash the Merc generally means a few refills. :?

Cool. What did the RS4 have the M3 V8 did not have ?

To be honest I did enjoy them both but the RS4 felt more responsive and a better drive all around. Plus I'm a firm beliver in AWD when it comes to serious play time.

Personally I don't like the looks of the M3 compared with the RS4 but again I do love the avant compared to the saloon.

Clearly splitting a post exactly when some else hits the submit button, ends up in trouble.

Will reply in the original topic

My detailers got those daft buckets, I don't see the point myself but the time he has foamed the car, and power washed it surely there cannot be any grit left, plus you would have to be a complete tool to wipe your mitt along the bottom of the bucket where all the grit settles ?!

You've got a point about the Brit's though swede, a lazy bunch of dole jockeys, I'm all for letting these poles and montenegran's do the crap jobs if they want to, so long as they are paying taxes.

 45000 Belgians in London. Why do you think they live there ??

I found it pretty shocking few months ago to hear that the works for the Olympics are at risk of delay because all the Poles are going back and there are no Brits to do the work... 2.2m unemployed people !!!! FFS ! (I hope I am allowed to have a rant at that)

You're right on the M3 (or any fast Beemer), power comes high in revs. Which is where i generally spend my time anyway

Ive got no beef with the belgian's swede, not that I like chocolate or anything :D

As for the olympic fkin stadium they can keep the dam thing, I'm not interested in blowing billions on that so a bunch of drugged up atheletes can race round for a few weeks, then spend months denying they used nandrolone and Growth Hormone, fkin pathetic.

I'm with you there. Prestige project for the little Hitlers of UK politics but no benefit to the taxpayer what so ever.
