Looking forward to the pics Thomo.

I'm not going to tell you about the invisible repair I had done to a stone chip on my daily car by AutoGlass. The guy was bigger than me and you may well know him!

Thomo, I'd be very intersted in this as mine needs doing soon. I think I'm going to end up having to get the whole roof re-sprayed through otherwise it might look a bit rubbish if I only get the rust areas treated!

ha!ha! ya i know! autoglass have spent £10.8 million this year alone on advertising just to go & tell you the chip way still crack off during the process crazy. to be honest the repairs we do will save you from having a new screen everytime you get a chip but if your looking for the repair to be gone like on the advert you"l be mistake-un. the process is for structure basis not cosmetic.

Not mistaken I know there is no way you can get a 100% repair, ie cant see it an so on, but if your gonna spend that kind of advertising money into scaremongering people to take there chipped screen to you only to be told it's not repairable, then they fork out £70 screen excess to have a new screen fitted , then you feckers cause rust issue with poor workmanship....prefer a chipped screen than a rust issue thanks but no !

ya its a shame there is some windscreen fitters out there who only do the job to bring in the money so a fitted screen is job done! know matter if they"ve cut the aperature & not bothered priming those sctrachs to avoid rust build up. dont lose all faith WR 1mpostor (aka number 1 moderator) there is a few of us fitters who enjoy working on cars & do appreciate them & understand the dangers of leaving bare metal showing.
to tell you the truth WR 1mpostor (aka number 1 moderator) i wish every customer i had, had a negative attitude like yours about windscreen fitters bcoz it would make them think alot more about the care of there job & then rusty aperatures would be a thing of the past!
