What products would you recommend for a Range Rover with Buckingham Blue paint (navy to the rest of us)?

Is it metalic or solid and do you know the condition of the paintwork?

It is metalic. There are some swirls in the paint. I'll do the best correction I can with a PC. I'm not after perfection as it is a daily car and the closer I get to perfection the less I'll want to "USE" it... if you know what I mean. I'll save all my effort for the WR1 and wifes car.

Here's some petrol and a match:- ...

"Fook me, almost a complete sentence." Well done :thumb:

Now we on the WR1oc have taught sentence construction to your good self, we can now move onto capitals. Next week we will look at punctuation - and I don't mean a flat tyre.

Once you've corrected it i'd probably go with the likes of Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant, it works well on that kind of colour and it's a piece of piss to use which is handy on a car that size. If you're feeling flush you can always spend another £40 on the wax which will increase durability and darken the paint down more too :)

Have you got any pics of the car? I might have some similair coloured cars with the Blackfire applied that i could show you? 8)

I'll post the only picture I have of the car in a minute...

Just going to look at the Blackfire sealant you are talking about. Something quick and easy would be good. I was thinking about putting Zymol on it and then regualarly using a sealant for ease. Would this work ok?

You can top a sealant with a wax (although the only wax that will go over the Wet Diamond is the Midnight Sun wax, that's why it was designed) but you generally cant top a wax with a sealant.

If you wanted to go with the Zymol, you could just top the protection up with Field Glaze. A few of our customers do this after every wash and i'm always amazed at how much it seems to boost durability :)

We went for a play in the hills of Buxton and Derbyshire. Granted the photo of the car is a little weak!!
