2004 Impreza STi WR1 - no.126 - robwils

Postby robwils » Sat Sep 15, 2007 4:58 pm

Few pics of my WR1 and my recent mod

Build No. 126, 21K miles, extended 2 year warranty.

Other mods are:
Turbo gauge
Prodrive mudflaps
STI stainless entry guards
Pioneer single din MP3 ICE with Ipod interface

New wheels - pending, bought but not sure what colour to change them to. :?

Looking at getting DEFI's and some AP brakes when its time to replace standard.

Yes wheels were refurbed and I went lighter, only stay a bit brighter until they darken due to muck and brake dust !

Headlamps have genuine subaru 'carbon look' protectors on them.

Looks nice mate. Not sure about the driving light covers but hey, that is personal taste. Otherwise looks mint :thumb:

They looked cool from what I remember. I'm sure ScoobyDan had an issue with them. I might be confused though. Given the mods you are planning I would probably save my money for now.

Thanks for comments guys, the driving lamp covers are just on for summer, whilst lights are never used, I agree the car looks better without them. :D

I took some pics of the STI sill plates today and will post up tomorrow.

Thinking of taking off the WR1 stickers and getting some new ones made up in silver, what do people think ?

:?: :?:

Cheers

:D

My worry would be someone trying to screwdriver them off?

Pretty careful where I leave the car, works car park is secure and its garaged overnight. Just bought a runanbout for those trips when I'm dubious about the parking though !

To be honest I'd be just as worried about the grills and wheel centre caps.

Try it out if you dont like them you can always put new originals back.

To be honest Rob, as some will agree, if they want it, they will have it,
no matter what you do that you may think is secure.

Latest pics with rear windows tinted, new wheels in anthracite and splitter.
Hoping to get the acrylic kit out at weekend to give it a better clean.

Splitter is from HT autos, mine was group buy on scoobynet a few months ago.
Here's link to website.

You can contact him through scoobynet as they post on there too.
Group buy on at moment for diffusers.
