Would it not help aswell if the standard air inlet from the bonnet to the innner wing was still fitted, ive put some door rubber around the hole and the air inlet fits in there nicely, so it fairly well sealed, so more cool air I'm presuming :?

nope - the snorkus grabs air from above the radiator and as such is not cold. There is plenty of cold air available through the fog light surround and even more whilst travelling along.

Thanks for the picture. Where did you get the pillar pod from? I'm assuming they are 60mm gauges? Have you also got a pic of the pillar pod showing how it fits to the pillar?

The pillar pod was from scoobyworld.co.uk to house the gauges which are 52mm. I didnt want the big Defi style gauges as I never actually read them, just use the warning lights when on track.

The pod mounts by slipping down the side of the pillar between the dash and has a single screw at the top holding it on. (afraid I have no pics of it)
