Looks very nice but a word of warning; they don't last long if you forget it's on there. Very vulnerable with the lower suspension.

give multi-storey car parks a miss too. i for some reason visited the kind edward in windsor which i am convinced is THE worst car park to get in and out of at the weekend and did i annoy the people behind me taking it slowly and doing 10 point turns to get round the bends !!

I get the same thing - have the mudflaps too and take it really slowly on some bad bumps - and peeps just start hooting

Put your mudflaps in the high position.

Not only they don't scrape anywhere, they also stick more out of the body of the car and protect the sides better.

I had ours in high position on our STi (also on Prodrive suspension) and even with the lumps and bumps we get in winter formed by packed snow, they never came off.

(They f*cking discoloured massively though Prodrive of course said that was normal... While Scott Lowe had the same supplier and same problem but he sent his customer replacements that had been made of the new plastic that did NOT discolour...)

Our flaps are in the low position and they have never caused a problem? Yes, one was ripped off but it would have happened in the high position too.... long story!

Besides, the flaps look poo in the high position IMHO

It's funny. Most people find they look bad in high position.

Is that purely on the WR1 (because of the combination with the larger 18" wheels) or in general ?

I found that hanging them low made it look as if I fitted 4 tails to my car.

Considering how much trouble one tail already gets me in, I thought I'd avoid that

I can see the benefit of fitting them high as the 1 does suffer from stones and sh1t being flicked up onto the bodywork

But hey they look much better low, so fit them low

And as for splitters they are
There are plenty of things that will make your splitter leave the front of your car as quick as it was put on though.

The worst offender for damage without full removal is a kerb when pulling forwards into a parking bay, leaves a lovely set of marks along the full length of the splitter

Just remember its there and you'll have now probs, its certainly worth the hassle
