Ouch?
What mods have you done under the bonnet?
Did you not have pics on the Island website with your engine on a bench etc or am I confusing your car with someone elses?
Keep us updated with your progress... make sure you post pics as you go along?

No I haven`t had the engine out of mine but I think I know who you`re on about. It`ll be fixed, I`m thinking of maybe going 2.5 for the engine too. Under the bonnet wise there`s not a lot to be honest. Due to my age I`ve only modded it lightly till the insurance drops sufficiently.
HKS decat downpipe
Magnex centre decat
Magnex cat back exhaust system
Turbosmart megasonic dumpvalve

No, the sun was in my eyes as the road rises at the end of it to join the main road and basically, I hit a parked milk float at 15mph

Ouch
Sorry to hear that. Good luck with the restoration and, as Bro says, keep the pics coming as you go along. I hope the insurance man is kind to you

Yep,
Sorry to see your car like this but I know just how you feel; my son was devastated after his skirmish last month and still keeps looking at his pics. I suppose the good thing is that nobody was hurt

Keep the 22B rep front and WRC mirrors but lose the awful spots and hideous roof vent and it will be tasteful.......Different and individual.
Build it as in the pic but then go and live in Bradford where it might be appreciated.

Call it personal taste, but I'd be with little'un on this.
I would respray tha car rally-blue, give it some large 'tarmac' gold wheels and I'd consider Impreza WRC (97-99 model) bulging wheelarches.

Why did the head gasket go ?
Ben was a true enthusiast and the car was always in first class
condition, pretty sure he would'nt have cut corners on it.
