Great stuff.

He has also won some of the classic hill climbs - baitings dam, Shelsley walsh etc 8)

May i also say he is well endowed in the testicular dept, as to go fast at Olivers mount requires relative spacehoppers :shock:

Harewood Hillclimb

Into the Esses

A closer look at Harewood Hillclimb

Harewood is the longest hillclimb course in the UK
- it is unusual in having a downhill stretch which is between Clarks and the Esses on the map below.

The drivers views of the track are:

The start
Image

The first corner - the right hander of Clarks
Image

After going downhill they reach The Esses, a right then a left
Image

which is followed by a right-hand hairpin, Chippy's
Image

Over the crest into the left of Country
Image

with the right hander at Willow coming up next
Image

then up the straight to the tricky left kink and right bend of Orchard
Image

This is follwed by the quick dash between the farm buildings
Image

and the long left-handed Farmhouse Bend
Image

Then up Quarry straight where the maximum speed is reached,
and the final corner, the double right of Quarry
Image

And finally across the finish line
Image


My best time in the Westfield is 66.66
My Dads best time in the Morgan is 68.32

The fastest recorded time is 49.19 set by Scott Moran in a Gould GR61X on the 2/7/06
