As you know I didn't do any work on the car last night because I was getting comfortable with a couple of bottles of Vaploicella (sp?).

Tonight the steam cleaner comes out.

What are you steam cleaning?????? be aware they can take your inlet manifold paint off if you are under the hood.

Where is the inlet manifold?


I'll be steam cleaning the bottom of the doors and a few other places. Under the bonnet - derrrr.... that is a job for a grease monkey! Maybe you can do the engine bay when you replace my brakes.

The inlet manifold is the painted red thing sticking up from the middle of the engine.

the engine is under the bonnet. PMSL

WOW ! 8)

The result is fantastic ! The car looks better than it was when new, I bet.

The Concours seems to have worked better on the Ice Blue than on the WR Blue. On the WR Blue, it didn't give anything really, I thought. The Vintage worked better there.
On the Merc's paint, I had exactly the opposite effect though. Pays to get a sampler.

We're waiting for Martin now to get his Zymol-ed !

Assume you didn't get snow this time :lol:

PS: In general, all your cars seem to look very clean 8) . Wish mine looked like that. :(
