I was thinking quite the opposite... all that space and that is the best he could do??? Seems Swede can "talk the talk" but when it comes to "walking the walk" there is little to no evidence of the claimed superior car handling skills... Let me guess, the photographer missed "THE" shot!

Still I give him credit where due, brave to slide on ice, wouldn't catch me doing that
And from his track pics, I reckon he's got skills
Swede you gonna give me some lessons please?

Why the hell would I put the car more sideways ?
What a bunch of amateurs !!
Maybe I should remind pooster how much faster he went going 'much more sideways ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TA2nKYfg9gw
Clearly shows what a bunch of Essex cruisers I'm in the club with... They all about their 400 horsepower but none of these boyracers actually knows what they are there for or has the balls to use them.

No, the photographer did not miss the shot at all. That was exactly sideways enough just brushing the snow-wall while pulling away.
And while we are talking about "Talking the talk but not walking the walk", I am still awaiting when you (and some other here) will show your skills off on ice. "Next winter we're coming to Finland, swede !"...

Each to their own Mr Swede... if we were all like you there would be a queue of perverts like youself and JD sitting schools...
Have you taken the AMG for a £10 top up of scratches recently?

Blah, blah - another evo driver talking sh*t. I saw these photos on your mlr thread, then there were the pictures put up by the fella actually using his evo in the snow - flat out, covered in snow. Looks like the swede is pulling up in tescos its that slow

Looks like I struck the sensitive chord with someone. Just admit your 400 horses are pure snobbery, Bro. you wouldn't recognise a 120bhp car from a 400 one, even if it landed on your head.

I didn't know you were such a sad git that you sold your Evo but still are hanging out on the MLR...
What's the point of that? You got another '400' hidden in your garage you hope to sell one day?
PS: Shows who's full of sh1t here: These pics were never put on the MLR. Just got them off the camera yesterday eve.

Pure snobbery... FPMSL. You don't see that some people want different things from a car. I want a gleaming monster that I use how I see fit... You want a fcuking Etch-a-sketch.

Ive the same number of 400s as you have wr1s - so what exactly is your point?
Your right, the thread doesnt exist - really cant be bothered with that arguement Cos if i was going to make something up it'd be about a little swedish chump who thinks he's lewis hamilton - oh, no that's not true

Why are all the WR1 in that video loosing there backend compared to the Evos? Is this intentional or characteristics of a WR1?

No, it's a characteristic of the drivers here.
Mind you, the ones on the video are still those who actually use their car. Some just spend time waxing them and hiding them in their garage because they live in such a criminal area even merely taking the car out would attract burglars again.
Others seem to get scared of their rice-rockets and sell them to buy a Megane.

Oh no I don't hide mine, I'd love to drive it like you drive your Evo, but I just don't know how or confident to be able to!
Back to the video, are the Evos better on the track as they have that YAW sensor where the WR1 just has the DCCD?
BTW, mint car you got there!

Tak !
I don't think the Evo's are really better on track. On the video you will see that Martin (the chap gets the WR1 twice way too sideways) takes a very different line into the corner and has his wheels turned way more still at the apex when he reaccelerates. The brutal power does the rest to 'pivot' his car
Having had a scoob before, I think on tarmac there is not so much difference once you get the cars with similar power. The Evo remains a fair bit more brutal and less easy to drive. The scoob has a much softer suspension and warns you much more when it will 'step out'.
Where the Evo is much more efficient is on snow. On the pics above, you'd first have seen the car struggling actually getting its nose into the corner and afterwards you would have had the snap oversteer the guys were expecting to see on the pics.
It's obviously more spectacular, but you're just not going anywhere driving sideways like a plonker
