It always makes me smile when I see reversing sensors on your car!!
I think these are the first pics of the gauges that I have seen. They seem a little small and not in the most ideal position to view them properly.
Please go and take another pic of your exhaust... it doesn't look that clean anymore!!

That is true. The exhaust actually is a nightmare to keep clean. I have tried everything: waxing, polishing, etc but it always gets EXTREMELY dirty and the dirty really sticks to it. Impossible to just wash it off. You always need to get the T-Cut out
As for the gauges, they are actually more than large enough for use, especially given the position they are in.
I really am happy I actually invested in those as they really allow you to monitor the oil temperature and viscosity (through the oil-pressure) and not use any boost until everything is at good working temperature.

It is surprising how long the car takes to get upto temp even though the standard water temp dial is showing "normal"!!!

I don't know about the scoob. I never had an oil temp meter there. Only water.
The Evo gets to working temperature pretty quickly. Normally after 2-3 miles all is reasonably well warm.
That being said, we do have that engine heater that does help in winter.

Well, if scoob had made a standard Impreza ( so I could have a car that was under warranty from Subaru, not Litchfield) that was anywhere close to the Spec C, I'd have bought a scoob any time... Old story !

Is the "shutter speed" very fast on that mobile phone? As your wheels seem stationary and your not kicking up any snow anywhere?
Busted.............

I use a phone to call ( and pick up when people call me !!! ), mr-"hello, this is Mike Stokes, I can't come to the phone right now but...".
Mak used a digital camera which was on fast shutter mode to avoid blurry pics.
If you look at the other pictures, you will see that the wheels are not moving on any of them, despite snow being thrown up, Sherlock. And if you check the last pic, you will see that there is snow thrown up by the front of the car still.
The fact that the rear wheels don't turn here is actually fairly reassuring as the handbrake was on ! (unlike girls like you (or Bro ), I don't use the handbrake only to keep the car in the same place when parking )

Looks more like you lost it and got the front end stuck in the snow bank if you ask me based on the steam coming from the front end.....
Hannu is probably just laughing with Marketta about it

The snowbank was actually pretty far away but I indeed overcooked it here as I came from the left and slid too far, trying to save it by accelerating (which gives the snow flying at the front). (It's snow, not steam. When it's -20-something, you don't get too much steam but snow is very powdery and flies around easily)

Nope, Finland.
Registering there wouldn't be smart. 180% VAT makes that an Evo costs 64000,-GBP and then you pay 800,-GBP road tax
Cannot register a car in Finland anyway as I am living at the expense of British taxpayers like Bro.
