Thought I'd return to subaru ownership..

Post pictures of your car and tell us the spec. It doesn't have to be a WR1!

Thought I'd return to subaru ownership..

Postby robwils » Thu Apr 04, 2013 7:09 pm

....and then changed my mind.

After selling the WR1 about 4 years ago to fund my house move and going down to a Mini Cooper S then to a Fabia VRS we have managed to save up a bit and get a (hopefully) really nice car again.

Had a look at a few scoobs, new and old and then just couldn't justify the high running costs for me.

Decided on this... well its nearly world rally blue

Can't believe how quick it is for a diesel auto !! - not WR1 quick but still a fast car all the same.

Will post a bit more when I've 'driven' it a bit more

It's a 330d 8 speed auto
0-60 in 5.6s
258bhp / 413 lb/ft torque
And still 40 + mpg

Lots of nice gadgets inside too.

Not a wr1 - but nice all the same.

That looks a real nice motor. I'm thinking of changing to something more user friendly and that looks ideal, be great for long trips across the channel with 40mpg. I guess its an M sport, does it come with the graphic display as std?

Yes it's m sport, it's got the professional version of the media, which is a wider screen sat nav and full I pod control I believe. Not sure what the business version has less than this. Really beginning to enjoy car, really quick for a diesel !!
Standard spec also includes front and rear sensors which are handy and display on the screen too. Read the spec sheet on any car you look at as they vary a lot. Mine doesn't have electric folding mirrors which would be handy when going into garage.
If its for economy too then the 320d is even better mpg and still quick.
