2004 Impreza WR1 - No 481 - DCFCtom

Postby DCFCtom » Tue Aug 14, 2012 7:27 pm

Hi guys, Had the car for just over a week now but after having all day Saturday cleaning her I thought id take her for a quick photo or two.

You will recognise 481 as belonging to Cozzy before he went to Australia. The Pics are taken with my new DSLR so just experimenting still really.

Comments of course welcome and thanks for looking
Tom

Hi Steve yeah im up for a shine off. Hmm that Dont sound right that doesnt lol At the min its a bead off, sodding weather.

Funnily enough the pics were taken at Mourville Hall (spelling?) heading towards Leek from Weston Coyney if you know it. There was a wedding party at the time and they were all outside enjoying drinks until I rocked up LOL think the 1 was getting more admiring looks than the bride

Il be honest marchar im finding the attention a bit well, embarracing if im honest. EVERYWHERE i go you get stared at which I guess comes with driving such a rare/stunning/noisy bugger of a car like we do but im not used to it coming from a Clio 182 ha. Suppose ive got to get used to it
Cheers

Thought it looked familar, my mate got married there a couple of years back and my previous WRX was his wedding car. Wait til you turn up at a 5* hotel with valet parking in it mate, "no thanks, I'll park it myself..."

I have the same problem, the car does attract some attention, even from the normal scoob drivers, also my dashing good looks from behind the wheel attract the greatest attention.

Car looks great, I love giving mine a good polishing.

At least with this beast, it never lets you down and gives you the ride of your life every time..... Thinking of ditching the misses, she can't perform as well as the one :P

Hey Steve thanks. Photobucket has killed the quality tbh. Ive only just got into using an SLR myself so bought an older model to see how id get on. Its just a Canon 440d but it does the job for me. A few were taken using auto mode but i kinda just use the settings available on the camera like portrait, landscape etc

If you right click on your original image and go to properties, then one of the tabs shows you everything you need like the shutter info the F number and so on - if you see a good picture online, you should be able to do this to see the relevant camera settings :)

Yes it should work fine, shows you the lens used, the zoom, all the settings on the camera that make a difference anyway. :)

Just need Windows XP or higher with latest service pack, hopefully most people are on Windows 7 by now.

Wont even start on a rant about Windows 8
