2007 BMW M5 - bbigman2000

Postby bbigman2000 » Thu Jan 08, 2009 7:02 pm

Thanks gents, she's home and in the garage, its been one hell of a day, It felt really good, arriving at the BM dealers knowing what I getting, its been one of those things Ive toyed with for a long time, but such is the money involved Ive always managed to talk myself out of it

Even more so now, after having had a proper run home in it, am I convinced that I have made the correct decision, the car is absolutley epic, Im about to watch presa's vid link, but there is no comparison with the csl, the M5 it feels to me atleast is faster, perhaps not as nimble but comes equipped with so so many toys !!

It even has a playstation and dvd system, bmw fitted, and I love the I drive, im a computer geek and love shit like that its awesome.

It has stunning little led lights on the door mirrors when you open the doors, its gonna be weeks before I work out all the gadgets :D

It even tells you at what mileage your brake pads, and most other consumables will need replacing, and servicing is cheaper than the M3 figure that !!

Have to admit though, brake discs are MASSIVE I can imagine they will cost the earth, but according to the computer I can do another 38,000 miles before I need new discs :D

Yeah, the brakes are indeed massive but they fade after 3 miles flat out on a B-road.

Swede lol, il not be thrashing the car on any B roads !! Im long past that sort of thing. Evo magazine also claim that they could not get the M5's brakes to fade despite repeated attempts ?
