Thanks for the welcome, current car is a Mini Cooper S, 240 BHP, has scared many a Scooby driver in the past and left them standing also many others, but, just fancied a change and liked the look of the WR1

Haven't really driven the WR1 in anger yet, but, my S with 240 BHP is a bit different to the norm time will tell, 0 - 60 in the S is around 6 seconds, still way off the WR1, but, for sheer handling etc the mini is good

Sadly the MINI has to go to make way for the WR1, but, i'm sure it'll be a worthwhile experience I'm guessing that Optimax is the preferred fuel

Welcome to the site m8, I assume you must have some great roads up there. You will really enjoy the WR1 experience.
Only drive a Mini one had some great fun with it. So a 240 bhp must real fun.

Obviously it is a different ride but in my opinion the Mini has nothing on the WR1. Granted the Mini handles and is fun... but it doesn't give me the same raw grin of driving the WR1 in the hills with the back windows open an inch. Hard engine braking, bit of brakes and lots of right foot. Oh, and the odd fiddle with the DCCD. We have just covered 10k miles in our WR1 and it is only now that I am really starting to get to grips with the DCCD. Maybe I am speaking too soon!! Don't want to tempt fate!

Yo Bro,
I got the aluminium strut braces from a Subaru main dealer. What I have found with the strut braces is:- 1) the car does generally feel stiffer 2) when you are giving it some on the bends (max rear bias) you seem to feel more in control and you seem to have more feedback through the car.
Sorry, I can't explain it any better than that.
Would usually happily meet up apart from:- 1) I'm away on my hols at the end of this week 2) I don't bring my WR1 down to Essex as I live up north and WR1 is a weekend car.
If neither of the above matter I am mostly always up for a beer to destroy people...
