Stolen No 167

Postby morchard » Thu Aug 09, 2007 8:07 am

Hi All, sad news had my house burgled and they made off in my car. had it tracked and they found it in a wall about 10 mile away.
waiting for forensics to do their thing then i'll get it to a garage to be assessed but when I looked at it it aws in a sorry state. The L/H/S body work has been damaged but the worst looks like they broadsided the kerb as the wheels have been bent up under the car. If it isn't repairable any of you know or are intrested in the engine/gearbox etc.
My Mobile number is 07891699529 drop me a line or give me a ring.
Hopefully she is saveable but if not I'd rather the rest of her went to good homes.

Martin :(

Very sorry to hear this. I hope you weren't harmed in the incident.

It is a great shame that the people walked away!

Sorry to hear that Martin there are plenty scum bags about who are willing to do this, and nowadays they are doing the house first to get the keys.

Atleast you are insured and hopefully the cops will do there bit.

Martin,

V sorry to hear this.

Were they after the car, or was it the getaway car for them having taken other things ?

Agreed; however much loved a car was; I'd agree; I would not want it back. Had a very nice Astra GTE 16v nicked a lot of years back (pearl grey - looked the Business) and never had an inckling of what happened to it. Got the insurnace money and bought a boat !

Absolutly gutted for you Martin !

Likewise I would'nt want it back, bad enough when someone hits you,
but to have it stolen is so unjust you work hard for the good thing is life and some scum bag just takes it ...As narked said shoot em.

I'm both sad and angry for your loss, Martin. We have been through the same sorry pattern ourselves recently and it's horrible. In our case they even caught them but then let them go due to lack of evidence, even though they were nabbed running away from where they crashed the car and had the DNA from the airbags!!! :x . It was a case of 'prove it, prove it!' The CPS failed comprehensively and I've had to spend a LOT of money on extra security now. Jeez! Is this really worth it?

Gutted for you mate, very sorry to hear about it. Looks like this type of criminal activity is seriously on the increase.

Fraser - I can't believe the CPS can't prosecute even when they have them bang to rights running away from the car with DNA evidence left behind, unbelievable that would make me so mad, talk about letting you down

Martin..........I REALLY FEEL FOR YOU..........

Like Houdini, I too have recently been through the same experience. The scum bags broke in whilst we were in bed. We never heard a thing. They helped themselves to my Civic Type R car keys, unlocked the back door of the house and simply drove away. It was found a week later, a virtual skeleton.......... (Two other cars taken, same method, same night, same district........)

gutted my brother ( i am 166 ) has been abused and defiled the disappointing thing is if they do catch them they can do nothing to them accept for a slap on the wrist they ought to make them do at least a 1000 hours community service in the sewers or something equally as bad as they will no doubt be underage
