Hi all,

Had No 167 for a couple of months now 04 plate with 40k on the clock. Found out about the site from a Subaru mechanic who replaced the rear shocks. He reacons its a common fault for that year model any one shed any light? Any other common faults that any one knows about.
Still love the car miles better that my WRX.

Hi Martin welcome mate

Shocks are a STI 8's fault, not just on 1's, a lot on here have had them done, other than that nothing much has gone wrong with the 1's, pulley bearings I've heard of, the turbo hose was a recall if i remember right.
cant really remember much else !

So a sound car all round :wink:
