Got no 486...

Picked up number 486 last week Saturday...

Really happy with the car - cant wait to drive it tomorrow again :D

That was WR1Mat's car did'nt know it was for sale !
Its a low milage one if I remember right.

Hi,

Yes it was his car....

Was quite concerned about the low mileage and things i read on here about it.

Got it from an authorized Subaru main dealer. He checked it out thoroughly.

Its just done 6000miles....

Don't take anything to personal from this site !

You have a cracking car with low miles :D

Make sure you put loads more on, most of us around 30k's now :roll:

No probs :wink:

If you have any concerns, most will be answered on here !

Ther are a few warranty issues that have occured
1. Rear Shocks .. common fault on most STI's aswell
2. Cam pulley bearing, rare occurance
3. Centre diff, rare occurace aswell

TBH pretty bullet proof :D

But if you check the "tech area" you may find more :wink:

Car is still under warranty plus got the extended one automatically by buying from dealer.

Hi Mwarabu, you take care of my baby, i only done about a 1000miles in her and loved every second of it. Think the bit you was concerned about was when somebody said it might of been an accident damaged one due to the miles being so low. The guys were pulling my leg, dont worry im a mechanic and i looked it all over shes tip top, you'll have no probs with her beleve me its probably the cleanest and straightest one in the country. Only thing that went pete tong with me was the battery & that was changed under warrenty and that was in december.

The story behind me selling it was my dads in the trade and one morning i came to work he asked me if i was keeping the 1 or would i sell it, thinking i'll still have her 4 awhile longer, when i said 'i would sell it'. I hadn't even finish my cup of tea when the phone rang, it was the dealer you bought off and then the deal was done. I was gutted, Indescribably gutted but there we go, you got my pride and joy look after her. Curious how much did you pay for her, what ever it was, it was well worth it they are gr8 cars.
