Ordered my WR1 at the Autosport Show 2004 and finally picked it up at the end of May

Presently sitting at 7500 miles.

Modifications:

1) Red Mud Flaps - STi emblem
2) Full Exhaust decat - Group N Centre and Downpipe
3) TurboSmart 'Rally Chatter' Fully Adjustable Dump Valve
4) Snooper S4R Neo GPS detector system fully installed
5) Defi BF and 4 Point Harnesses are next on the mod list!

Previous Scoob was a 1998 UK Turbo - which was modified to 270Bhp.

Beast acurately describes it Brian! lol

Cold Turkey ... the full decat has made a considerable difference. Obviousely the standard noise is dwarfed by the turbo spool and exhaust wail that you get from the decat. Although you find yourself freezing as you'll have the windows down all the time listening to it!!

As soon as you push the fast pedal the noise is sensational. A number of people have commented to me that it sounds very quiet and then they were bowled over by the noise when I decided to let the animal of it's leash.

I've also felt a considerable difference in acceleration and top end grunt.

Not totally sure Chris ... reliable estimate from the people that have done similar mods to a WR1 and then rolling roaded as well as Having it top ended on a motorway is around the 340-350bhp level

Have also 1 mile dragged a 350bhp STI 7 and there was nothing in that whatsoever - apart from him getting a slightly better start. (that was on a runway)

I have just introduced my self on a previous thread and was a bit reluctant to say what had been done and by which dealer (Warranty reasons) but it sounds like you have had done the same as me by the same dealer:D NICE isn't it

Very very nice ... worth every penny. In my opinion the way the car should come out of the factory - be gone with those horrible CATs!

... 156 now complete with Full rally spec WRC 'finned' spoiler. I retract all previous statements about not liking it. Makes the car look even more awesome than it does anyway. Well well well pleased.

My dealer is gradually getting me to part with my cash. The spoiler is the absolute nuts. Time for the Ohlins suspension methinks!
