Hello.
I'm the proud owner of WR1 #232. Picked it up at the end of July and now covered 3500 miles so memories of the first 1000 running in are now gone.

Love the car to bits and keeping it absolutely standard. Even the crappy stereo.

Is it just mine or do yours also attract seemingly millions of kamikaze insects to the windscreen and front end.

Previously owned RB5 #382 and before that, run of the mill Dad mobiles.

Blobster :D

PS. Nice looking site.

Hi Blobster, Welcome to the site.

Insects cover the front end, took some advice off SIDC forum and purchased Swissol Teflon sheild wax, not so many stick and those that do come off really easy. Not cheap, but from what I have used so far, looks as if it will last at least 18 months if not longer.

I have to agree with Millie, the Swissol products are the way to go. I'd never used them until i bought this car but i wanted to keep it looking good! 8)

I've been out and jet washed it this evening and the bugs came straight off and it looks like new agian!
