I feel I owe some people an explanation  For those who don't know... I used the neighbour's garage door last Monday to stop the car... As we had had a bit of rain, which had been freezing straight away, the area between the garages was one big ice skating ring. Got my car out of the garage and as I hit the brakes at 3mph, the thing just slid on and stopped with a very loud bang against the door (steel door  ) of the garage opposite to mine.  Fortunately the door was 'flexible' enough to take its original shape back.

Indeed. First thing I did was look around if anyone had seen it  As said above, the door was flexible enough to take its original shape back. I've seen him struggling a bit opening and closing it though
