i have owned her for about 3 months now and have had the front disc's & pads changed as they were nackered and the rear shocks as they were knocking but other than that the car is spot on. there are a few things that imho ruin it a little like one of the previous owners had a garage door sensor thingy fitted with a switch cut in to the lower dash and the front bumper looks like its been run through a stone pit but other than that im incredibly happy with it. from what the log book shows im the 3rd owner of the car and the previous owner lived in the lake district. i want to keep the car standard except for a remap as i dont want it to loose its limitedness so got any suggestions? for my 52 plate wrx which was featured in Banzai quite a few years ago i used a chap called pat that used to work from silverstone but cant seem to find him anymore :(

Hi Richard and welcome to the Madhouse!
In regards to the Mapping I used Duncan from RaceDynamix (Advert at top of this page!). Very pleased with the results and Dunc has mapped loads on here and knows the car. Good value aswell i paid £350 but may have gone up a little since. I had mine on the Dyno and ive got 337bhp with a green panel air filter to help a bit. It drives very nice and is well worth it.
But you know what happens then........YOU WANT MORRRRRRE POWER!
Bet you dont stop there! Im looking at 400bhp conversion now but dont tell the Mrs.

HAHAHA :) It really will stay there with this one.
I had all the tuning fun with my old WRX and spent way too much money doin it ;)
if i was to tune one i would probably buy a normal STI to mess around with while keeping the WR1 safely locked in the garage ofc.
