I was umming and arring about getting a WR1 3 years ago (as WR1 Bro will testify) and had a bit of a moment in early 2008 and traded my bugeye WRX for a Focus ST 2.

The Focus was fine and was quick enough for a fwd car but the paintwork was crap and looked like it had been washed with a brillo pad in places

So anyway fast forward to now and I have finally come to my senses and bought 147





The car is totally standard and as it will be the every day driver I've no major plans except maybe some mud flaps and front splitter

Here's a couple of the old bug - when I first got it



and after a styling mods



I am totally made up with the WR1

The only thing that doesn't seem to work is the driving lamps which only come on with main beam - I assume they should come on with normal headlights?

Glad you saw the light, welcome I believe the lamps being driving lamps and not spot lamps only come on when on main beam..............I think?

Welcome, I went through a similar phased motion of yes, errm maybe, before making the plunge. Very happy with my own unmod'd 1 ... Enjoy.
