Spike, im looking for a new motor just now myself, my list is M6, M5, E92 M3,. RS4
ive been doing a lot of research also, and the new M3 is coming out ahead of the rest in terms of reliability.
Previously: Everything With 4 Wheels over 300bhp
Currently: M6 (57) & Hilux Invincible (60)

There was a new M3 at Donnington the other week. Holly cow can that thing get round a track.
Not normally a BM fan myself, particularly not the M3 as its all posers round here that drive em, but that new one, i'm telling you, serious piece of kit that. Was very impressed and even told the owner so - which aint like me!!
That Lexus IS-F gets a good write up in evo magazine too.

Bad news aint it fella...just "waiting" .....I am sure these cars woudl take an offer less 3k.
If you look in autotrader I offered "Torness" 4k short on a light blue 6 with low miles advertised at 33k from memory, which they could do.......then I tried P/ex in cab
I am sure if you have cash or no P/ex you could make a killing.

there's a black one at a local dealer my eyes popped out my sockets when I saw the price on the winscreen 34k I think - great value IMO. Might go for a test drive actually.

Well expensive to keep on the road. Tyres, servicing, fuel. Makes the RS4 look like a sensible economy car for tight arse jocks.

I do agree that the M5 is a lot rarer, only one on Autotrader!
Vids like this make it even more attractive

Spike, I would also look into car key burglaries and see which car out the ones you like attracts the least attention.
