It looks great !

You joining in in the pimpin' business with me and Spike ?

Heard the TD6 is slightly underpowered, but all depends how you drive, I assume. It's a 4x4 in the end, not an FQ400 to race around. Plus, that engine has proven to work well at 234bhp in the 730d, so should be easily chip-able.

There certainly are chips available for them. As usual the torque is vastly improved with a chip.

Would be an everyday tool, so not remotely interested in how powerful it is/fast it goes, run as a work vehicle to offset as much of the cost as possible.

Although a re-chip for extra lbft is not a bad idea at all

Good news is g/f loves it too.

May be used for light towing duties when the 400 replacement does eventually happen - at the moment something like this looks favourite

As Bro said Neil great choice !

If the scoob were to go Range Rover( 8) 8) love it )
would be right on top of the list.

No point in having something similar it would'nt compare, somehting totally different is the way to go

The Range is really not my cup of tea, but, I'll let you off seeing as you have been considering a Radical!

I'd consider the Atom over the Radical. Mainly because even though they are both road legal you know the radical isn't really a sensible option on any road. Whereas with the Atom you aren't just confined to the track.

The atom is 8)

But bodywork, ground effect and wings are even 8) er.

The atom looks silly in a silly way to me. Whereas the Radical just silly in a crazy way, if you know what i mean :?

The rangey is well over priced mate, id say you'd pick up a mint td6 for 27/29k now, and it wouldnt have the horrible wheels.

I gave a v8 one a good test run, I nearly put it up a bank, they dont do corners very well

Lets see some examples. I've looked into TD6's recently and all the ones around the price you suggested were VERY high mileage?

Neither do subarus, understeer all over the place :toofunny:

TBH not really bothered about the performance, after something, big, comfortable, reliable for everyday use that'll last a good few years. Ill certainly be trying to get the price down, no trade in etc, but with that spec and mileage it doesnt seem to be far off, kinda liking the wheels too

bro, try autotrader lol, ive got a business to run !!

I drove past 04 plate td6 the other day on a traders stand at 29k it looked mint in black.

poesy, cool, yeh nice machine, but every trade mate i have tells me not to even consider one, gearboxes etc etc failing, not good.

I have tried a 4.8is x5, didnt like that either, what about a cayenne ?
