Not sure...

...whats going on tbh.

Been nearly a month since the evo left and;

a) havent bought a new car

and

b) currently have no wish to spend loads of £££ buying, running, etc anything to replace it with.

Kinda getting worried cos I seem quite happy blasting around in the little clio, chasing the evos and scoobs 8) rather than the one being chased. Are my silly car days behind me doyarecon?? Do you actually get these cars out of your system do you think?

Do you own any slippers? If so, do you find yourself driving the Clio in them? :rofl:

Kinda realised that it doesnt have to be an evo/££expensive to be fun.

Plus the costs - OMG.

A trackday in the clio is hardly noticable. Cos its so light tyres dont wear out, neither do the brakes, feul isnt an issue, stonechips dont matter and no pressure to be all that quick - love it 8)

What age are you mate im 34 and kinda going the same way as you, id rather put the feet up and watch tv, than mess about with induction kits and AYC pumps.

Quite happy running around in the truck at the moment, but when I did take the wr1 out on sunday, ended up having a whale of a time in it :lol:

Same age matey. Dont get me wrong youll still find me trying to party every weekend like im 19. That hasnt changed.

Its just the car thing. Rather spend my money on other things it seems. Still doing my trackdays, etc, but only now in a car that costs a fraction of the amount of money and still having as much, if not more, fun.

When I bought the 400 most folk did say "what can you get next" and on my budget it seems now that it was a very good question. That car spoiled me, no doubt, nothing ive tried since has given the same feeling.

Yep, its a funny old world gents, and poesy, I can imagine not a lot can compare to the 400, very hard to replace something like that especially for track work !!

Whilst, I have some inclination to order a new m5 / m6 or rs4 / rs6 I find myself holding back, I dont know why, im just thinking maybe my car days are over, and I need to start looking at other things improving the house, holidays etc etc.
