Spike,

I've checked my collection of Maps and all the e-mails you've sent me, but I only seem to have your Anti-Lag Version.

I don't think you ever sent me the 'Original' 380!

Oh Dear...

Lee.

Spike,

Remember to change the Immobiliser Code if you use this map!

...otherwise the car won't start

Lee.

P.S. Can I have a copy of this map for my collection?

I can't read your map 'cos the one you sent was only 10kb......the Evo IX has a 512kb ROM file!

My first impression is that the '380' Map isn't brilliant; it's basically a Standard JDM GSR Map with a boost increase and a reduced stationary rev. limit.

It needs further study to produce a full evaluation......

......they've also slightly 'leaned-off' the higher load areas of the high octane fuel map, but it looks like they couldn't be bothered to amend the low octane one......which is a bit lazy!

They appear to be identical (apart from the immobiliser code)!

Exactly what I am now seeing...have turned the anti lag off quite easily...just edit teh RPM target from 2000 to 11000 therefore it effectively stops the injection/pulse of fuelling.

I also am changing the stationary RPM to 5500 and RPM limit to 6000 for servicing

The 2000 RPM setting is for the operation of the secondary air system, it's not the only thing adjusted by Matt @ TRL to give you anti-lag......He's added a few sneaky adjustments (retardation) to the High Octane timing maps and (from the logs you've sent me) he's also offset the throttle position sensor scaling.

Basically, be careful!

WTF is throttle sensor scaling? How much power for how much I press the loud pedal?

From the logs you sent me a few weeks (months) ago, it appears that your Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) doesn't return to zero when you 'back-off'......Instead, it seems to stop at 13% open.

Logs from my car show that the TPS has a full 0-100% Range.

Whats that mean? Stays fuelling on lift off?

You need your immobiliser code, which I assume is C201 (that's what's in both of 'your' maps).

The init code is the 'Initialisation Code' required to allow communication with your ECU. This is the number ECUTEK changes to 'lock' your ECU following a remap.

Strewth! This all sounds very complicated. C201? Is that the next Citroen code name? There must be an easier car to own  Is everything OK?
