I'd have the Audi any time over the beemer. Beemer way too 'pimp'. Also never like the M6 when I drove it. I'd have a manual 650 any time.

Audi UK seem fine Torrekens - friend of mine works for them and he jumps through hoops for his clients. Maybe you got a bad experience/individual. Many people I know are more than happy with the Audi experience and enjoy running them
