Vids from EVO website

Postby presa900 » Sat Mar 10, 2007 10:17 pm

Check out these two clips of the Ferrari 599 and Bugatti Veyron, the 599 just wants to leap off that dyno at WRC tech and the difference a change of rubber makes is interesting, the Bugatti just sounds awesome 8) 8) 8) 8)

Is it the tyres or the tyre pressures? I assuem new tyres will grip better.

Im sure I remember WRC say that if you over inflate the tyres you get a better reading on the dyno aswell.

You see them changing the wheels/tyres in the clip wonder what rubber was used in the tests!

I would expect it makes more of a difference when you have 620bhp under the bonnet and you are trying to lay it down onto a steel roller!

Any extra grip must be a big bonus! :?

I will be certainly be getting those tyres pumped up nicely for our WRC Tech trip next month 8)

Does the EVO website allow you to look at the other vids on there, if it does have a look at the F40 vs Bugatti particularly where the F40 comes to a junction and turns right and proceeds to give it some serious beans 8) 8)
