Well, the tractors they're using at airports to move planes don't have a 300bhp 5.0 diesel. And the Touareg has short gearing, so it's not such a surprising feat.

its a rolling weight therefore no problem on a flat surface :wink:


a mini could do it aswell .....but the clutch may need replacing after 5 yards :lol: :lol:

I drove the 5.0 v10 twin turbo diesel engine tourag when they first came out and what a smile :D it puts on your face, A little simular to that has the old WR1 does! My younger brother had it all over the weekend and put about

We drove one when loking for a new car last month.

I think it was averaging around 15.1mpg :shock:

The 3.0 TDI was a lot better value for money and on the road didn't feel much slower and was a lot less nose heavy. And
Too petty to be a traffic warden...

Mind it being on 5th gear when it 1st came out, it was towing a combine through a field.
