Postby POESY » Thu Apr 13, 2006 2:12 pm

My money's on the TreVoR.

If I was going to have an EVO it would ONLY be a 400. Had the 300 on order before I bought the WR1 and have driven all versions. Only two I would buy.

1) FQ400
2) Evo6 Extreme

Will be nice to see what the 320 is like though and how in compares to a WR1

I love the look of the TVR and everything else about it. The crunch is how it drives. If It's going to try and kill me at every opportunity then I'll let Bruno out the bag.

I love the look and sound of the TVR's, ( there's no replacement for displacement ) which one are you thinking about?

The only problem with them are reliability problems me thinks.

Test driving is fun - but youve really got to be able to say NO. The grass always looks greener, etc but once youve got home and thought about it you realise you'd have been no better off :?

Try a 400 chris, mitsi are fairly relaxed when it comes to test drives, and it really IS that fast. Hard to describe, youve got to experience it to believe it. All that power and all that lagg. First of all you'll think, whats all the fuss about my scoob, evo, whatever isnt far of this - then all of a sudden you hit 4,500 and all hell breaks loose  Not ideal for a smooth, easy to drive, useable car - but what a rush :D Bit like marmite - you'll either like it or not. Most people - not, POESY - loves it !!!

I think it was a very limited run modded by Ralliart that did 0-60 in or under 4 seconds.

I'm sure Poesy will correct me if I'm wrong but the EVO 6 Extreme was a limited run of just 20 cars in the UK.

All were stipped out and had a roll cage.
Were white in colour with an orange strip along the door panels.
They had 345bhp standard with around the same amount of torque
0-60 was dealt with in 3.8 seconds.
Cost something like

I believe they were around that sort of level new.

The car is going to be a historic collectable no doubt about it. Even on a saturday night in southend you may only see 1 or 2 - compared to 30-40 subarus. I want a completely untouched version with a small amount of miles on the clock. They are maybe only 3 or 4 like that in the country so that's why it's going to command so much
