Just being arguementative - love jags, all jags - except the one that is a mondeo - and that new XK8 is special, probably better than the aston too, just dont let my brother hear you say that !!!

As per our conversation at the weekend about the 55AMG, the Aston shouts and is in your face. The jag does the same as the 55AMG, it glides along under the radar not trying to shout and scream at people - and because of this is (IMO) a better car than the Aston. That is just the sort of thing that appeals to people like my old man who like understated bling.

:suss: you saying im old :toofunny:

we saw a black one, 20" wheels black leather, grrrrrrrrrrrreat sounding even if its only got 300hp, later this yr there is going to be an "r" version- flared arches front and rear and a bulge on the bonnet continuing up onto the roof
supposed to have a better auto/paddle shift than the audi / vw dsg system also 8)
I darent go for a test drive though!! plan is knowing the way jogs loose money, keep the porker for a year then trade in for a nearly new jag :D

THIS THREAD IS NO GOOD WITHOUT PICS- MR IMPOSTER PLEEEEEASE :ok:

There's a Jaguar dealers down the road from my office, i tend to drive pass it a couple of times a day. There was a new XK finished in black sitting outside last week. It looked very 8) . I can fully understand people wanting one.

Agree with Poesy. You must be :cuckoo: to offer over list price on ANY car.

Order one at a dealer on the continent. Friend of mine dodged the 8-9 month waitlist on a 911 by getting it from Belgium on 4 (RHD, full UK spec).

Saw an XK in Reading when I last was there and agree with Spike. It looks much better in the flesh than on picture and it just sounds awesome. :thumb:

Agree on the fact you must be part of the Footballer's wives club to be prepared to pay over list on a car

Too many nice cars on the market for that.

I went and had a quick look over the new XK at our dealers today. It does look very 8) close up.

They had a couple of the prototype cars hidden at the back of the showroom that the new car was based on, which were interesting to look over.
